Senior Technician
Thera ten Hoonte-Wormhoudt is a highly experienced biochemical analyst with over 30 years of expertise in biomedical research. After graduating in Biochemistry from a Dutch University of Applied Sciences (HLO), she began her career at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, contributing to lung cancer research.
Upon returning to the Netherlands, Thera worked at Radboud University Nijmegen and later joined the Department of Pathology at Amsterdam UMC (formerly AMC). For more than 25 years, she specialized in the immunoglobulin repertoire analysis of various lymphomas, gaining deep expertise in molecular biology, sequencing technologies, and immunological profiling.
In 2024, Thera joined Liposoma as a Senior Technician. She supports the development and optimization of innovative liposomal formulations and plays a key role in laboratory research and quality control within our R&D division. Her strong background in immunology and biochemistry enhances the scientific foundation of our platform.
