Lipid-based formulations can be of critical value in terms of improving the performance of topically applied medical products by e.g. delivering vitamins, skin or mucosal hydrating agents, wound healing promoting, anti-infective and antioxidant (non-pharmacological) health ingredients. For diagnostic purposes, liposomes have been successfully used to detect microbes and diagnose infections.

LIPOSOMA offers two platform technologies for nutritional and medical food applications. Our LiproTeq™ powder products are spray dried liposomal powders that hold active ingredients. LIproTeq™ products with selected active ingredients can be ordered from our standard portfolio or can be developed upon request. Our proprietary Nutrateq™ pastes products is based on liposomal technology and is sold as branded or white label products. Nutrateq™ paste is a high end product and is unique as it can hold high dosages of water and fat-soluble active ingredients in a single product.
